TRUCKS / TRAILERS APPLICATION FOR A ONE DAY SPOT IN OUR FOOD TRUCK COURT. PLEASE READ *A L L* THE INFO PROVIDED BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION.
THE HAPPS: Number of trucks/trailers allowed will fluctuate with the seasons. These open spots are for normal days -- NOT for our special events (those are a special vendor registration). These food truck court spots are meant to give you a stable location to park with the potential of catching local Macomb, Tribbey, Maud, Noble, Asher & Tecumseh residents, Ravine Buildings customers & Adventure Park visitors. Combined local traffic between Hwy 177 & Hwy 59B is about 200 cars per hour. Ravine Buildings & Adventure Park business ranges anywhere from 30 people per day all the way up to 150 people per day. Even if weather forces the Park to close, your secured spot is still open & available to all local residents & Buildings customers. We cannot guarantee any expected patronage, as weather & seasons & life is unpredictable.
WHAT'S PROVIDED: Picnic tables and graveled driveway entry. Continuous beautification & improvements will be made to the court area. Food trucks will be visible from 59B, with easy pull in access. Digital marketing & road signs provided. Trash cans & service provided. Solar lighting provided. Professionally cleaned porta potty provided. No power or water available ((yet)). Generators welcome (obviously).
During the Friday, Saturday and Sunday available setup hours there are no other food options locally available. Meaning, there's no competition within 8 miles. Your trucks/trailers will be the only food experience available in the whole area.
APPLICATION REQUIRED: Application includes a general date request.
All trucks/trailers are on a trial basis and may only sign up for one single day for your first run out here (this is our nuisance gauge trial run - to see if you/your staff are too annoying to have on site or not - hopefully everyone passes with flying colors). Please understand that the Park is not only our business, but our home, so we feel the need to be extra selective. If you pass the one day nuisance test run, you will be welcome to sign up for as many days as are available.
Trucks/trailers setting up for multiple days in a row are allowed to leave their truck/trailer overnight. Obviously, we cannot guarantee the security of the food truck court, but if you'd rather not haul out and back, you're allowed to take the risk of leaving your truck/trailer in place.
Though we will be providing road signs to point out the trucks/trailers, you are allowed to also place your own flags/signs, as well.
HOURS & REQUIREMENTS: Trucks/trailers are required to be here for the hours listed: MUST be here setting up no later than 11:30am & ready to serve by 12pm. Trucks/trailers MUST stay open until at least dark & are allowed to stay open until 10pm.
Consistency is key. Our local residents and Buildings/Park visitors need to know they can plan on food being available during those hours.
Trucks/trailers that are interested in setting up for the entire weekend spot (Fri-Sun) need to complete their one day nuisance trial, first. Then when passed, may sign up for a full weekend.
Food trucks/trailers are required to use the large dumpster provided and empty their own trash. Absolutely do not use the trash cans provided for customers. Trucks/trailers are required to keep their area clean of trash left by customers.
